It was still denied. My mistake I imagine was that I downloaded it, and it was a special offer I have to assume that a special offer like this would deny registration. I'm having a similar issue.
Macbook Air with M1 chip. When I click on Register I get the spinning "beach ball" endlessly and an empty window. I am having the same problem. I've installed the beta versions and registered without problems. I have the same issue with the newest update and I do not have a beta version to use to rectify it.
You can install the beta version as described in the appropriate beta forum for your application and OS. There will be a pinned topic near the top of the forum with the download link, and the beta will install separately from the retail version. They are using an App model pricing scheme where the costs involved are low and therefore so is the barrier to purchase. The other aspect is that given their track record of providing free updates for years I will want to support them. I use Faststone and every couple of years I donate to support the developer. Yes, I expect that I'll upgrade to 2. Serif is certainly worthy of support. Not only is the software both excellent and remarkably inexpensive, and all the upgrades to date free, but it also provides lots of really good free educational videos short, but content-filled.
